As pastor of St. Ann Church in Northwest Washington, Rev. Msgr. James D. Watkins has also been teaching undergraduates as a lecturer in philosophy at The Catholic University of America since 1990. After 35 years of teaching at his alma mater where he earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees in philosophy, he has decided it’s time to retire from that part-time service. “It has been a wonderful experience to teach so many students and to help to open their minds to good, critical thinking,” he said.
