Nearly 50 years ago when Roe v. Wade was handed down, our nation became a house divided against itself by putting freedom of choice before even the inalienable right of life itself. Since then, we have tirelessly prayed and worked for a restoration of the values stated in the Declaration of Independence that have made ours a truly great nation.
St. Ann Boy Scout Troop 100 includes more than 20 scouts ranging in age from 11 to 18 who come from private, public, charter, and home schools. We just celebrated our 145th, 146th, and 147th Eagle Scouts in an Eagle Court of Honor! Each Eagle completed a service project, along with advancement, leadership, merit badges, and high adventure backpacking trips out west at the Philmont, New Mexico scout ranch. Each of these Eagles served the troop as Senior Patrol Leader, which is a significant amount of responsibility for leading the troop.
A graduating senior in the St. Ann Youth Program explains what he received from the Program during his years of involvement. His touching testimony is worth a read! Learn more about our Program at stanndc.org/youth
The needs of our church community continue as we begin a new faith formation year, and without your help, the parish cannot meet the needs of our ministries, families, facility or staff. The gift of your prayer and the support of your treasure are more important now than ever, and so I am asking you to prayerfully consider renewing and strengthening your commitment by “Taking the Next Step” in support of our weekly Offertory Collection.
