The Youth of St. Ann will again be filling and wrapping shoe boxes as Christmas gifts to be distributed by Friendship Place — and you can help! Your generosity last year provided items to fill more than 90 boxes! Please bring donations by Dec. 14!
St. Ann is a member of Friendship Placés Congregations Committee. We work in partnership with congregations of all faiths to support Friendship Place in its goal of ending homelessness in the DC area. One of the members of the Congregations Committee, Washington Hebrew, will be hosting its annual Martin Luther King Day of Service on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10am to 12 noon at Temple, 3939 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC 20016. They are inviting othe congregations to come together to help our less fortunate friends and neighbors. There will be a variety of activities, including preparing food, building bookcases, sorting donated clothing, and many more! For more info, email or call Steve Lamm at (202) 309-1505.
