The Social Outreach Committee wishes to thank all parishioners for their generous support of the Summer Snack Drive to assist our unhoused neighbors who frequent the Welcome Center at Friendship Place, located at 4713 Wisconsin Ave NW. We also wanted to share information about the history of Friendship Place, especially about its connection to St. Ann DC.

Since February, several developments have been highlighted by pro-life advocates, including support for stronger protections for pregnant immigrants, the dismissal of charges against journalists who exposed Planned Parenthood practices, and legal victories for pregnancy resource centers and anti-abortion activists. This article also discusses concerns about government actions under the previous administration, calls for Congress to defund Planned Parenthood, and notes that financial pressures recently halted plans for a new abortion facility in Richmond, Virginia. All are invited to participate in a monthly prayer witness in Washington, D.C., honoring the dignity of unborn children and advocating against third-trimester abortion. Click to read more here!
