Our Director of Communications, Natalie Plumb Lucey, moved to Arizona on January 3. She will remain working at St. Ann in a remote capacity, while a new Youth Minister, Kevin Reber, will take over in-person tasks such as leading the Youth Ministry Program.
Through COVID, we have accomplished much at St. Ann in the fields of Communications and Youth Ministry, together, from the website and bulletin redesigns, to our fresh email, logo, livestream and social media content. Not only that, but since the beginning of our revamped Youth Program in Fall 2019, more than 100 teens have served, socialized and grown in spiritual formation through our Youth Ministry Program! We should all be very proud.
Natalie shares with us some important updates:
I have been working full time at St. Ann since 2019, the year of the parish's 150th anniversary.
On January 3, 2023, I moved to Sierra Vista, Arizona, to be with my husband Dennis Lucey, who is in the military. We will be there three years, give or take, during this army duty station. We were blissfully married at St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, November 19, 2022, by our pastor, Msgr. James D. Watkins.
From Arizona, I will continue to run the communications at St. Ann, with the website, bulletin, emails, social media and printed communications remaining under my purview. While I am no longer in charge of running the in-person Youth Program, I will continue to provide guidance under the leadership of our newly hired Youth Minister, Kevin Reber.
I’m excited to continue to be a part of our St. Ann DC Parish Family working in a remote capacity. Thank you for this opportunity, and for all you each have meant to me the past several years. I will miss you!
