Peter Catama has served as the Parish Secretary at St. Ann Catholic Church for nearly 10 years. He retired on July 31, 2025, noting: “Serving at this church has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. The experiences and lessons gained serving the congregation have enriched my faith and strengthened my walk with Christ. Please pray for me and my family. My prayers will remain with St. Ann Church, its leadership, and its mission to glorify God.”In retirement, Catama will travel. Catama holds a B.A. in Marketing and Commerce from the San Sebastian College in Manila, Philippines.
Rae Ann Bevington Now Serves as Executive Manager to the Pastor
Rae Ann Bevington, a parishioner of St. Ann Church since 2017, now serves as full-time Executive Manager to Msgr. James D. Watkins. Rae Ann has assumed Peter Catama’s administrative responsibilities in addition to assisting Monsignor Watkins with his sacramental duties, including Baptisms, weddings and funerals. The new position will help further the Pastor’s ministry to the vibrant Catholic community at St. Ann Catholic Church. Her motivation to serve is rooted in her deep devotion to her faith and the Catholic Church. Rae Ann has been active in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington since 1986, serving as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle and St. Ann.
Prior to serving St. Ann Parish, Rae Ann worked as a Congressional and Political Affairs Strategist in senior management positions where she cultivated and worked with external constituencies, including Members of Congress, political campaign committees, and industry and interest groups to further advance their legislative agendas. She also served as Treasurer to several prominent national business trade association’s political action committees. Rae Ann assumed her new role on August 1, 2025.
