On Saturday, September 13, our talented organist Bob Bright will perform and demonstrate the power of our incredible Létourneau organ at 7:30pm, followed by an up-close guided tour of the organ and choir loft. Staff member Natalie Lucey will host an 8:30pm history and architecture tour.
For music and tours, please enter at the front door of the Church, at the corner of Wisconsin and Nebraska Avenues NW.
Come and learn about the church's beautiful reproduction of Michelangelo's famous "Pietà," Létourneau organ, well known Christian saints depicted in their stained glass windows, and history as a historic site in Tenleytown. For all of these events, the church will be open from 4:00 to 11:00pm, with a 5:00pm Mass service, and a self-guided tour will also be available.
Simultaneously, from 7:00pm to midnight, the Parish Gym becomes a pop-up art gallery featuring artists spanning sculptors, painters, mixed media, and everything in between. Live music and dance bring added vibrancy to this expansive space. Just outside, interactive games, outdoor sculpture, and dessert trucks bring whimsy for the young and young-at-heart, also featuring cocktails.
