The professed religious brothers of the Order of Malta joined the blessing of a new library on the lower level of the church. It houses a beautiful collection of books and the Parish Archives recently assembled in organized binders by Sal Selvaggio.

The photo on the right, taken on the steps of the recently renovated front of the Church includes Maddy, her husband Dan Redinger, her three siblings, and sixteen cousins. In all, seven of those pictured attended St. Ann Academy, and have gone on to excel in their chosen field.

Established in 1989, the year 2022 marks their 33-year anniversary at our parish. The more than 50 female members vacuum the parish after all Masses, tidy up the pews, clean the church laundry and organize fundraisers — they even donated the newly renovated kitchen in the basement of our church! Thank you!

Nearly 50 years ago when Roe v. Wade was handed down, our nation became a house divided against itself by putting freedom of choice before even the inalienable right of life itself. Since then, we have tirelessly prayed and worked for a restoration of the values stated in the Declaration of Independence that have made ours a truly great nation.

St. Ann Boy Scout Troop 100 includes more than 20 scouts ranging in age from 11 to 18 who come from private, public, charter, and home schools. We just celebrated our 145th, 146th, and 147th Eagle Scouts in an Eagle Court of Honor! Each Eagle completed a service project, along with advancement, leadership, merit badges, and high adventure backpacking trips out west at the Philmont, New Mexico scout ranch. Each of these Eagles served the troop as Senior Patrol Leader, which is a significant amount of responsibility for leading the troop.

Our beloved Carol Pagi, Parish Secretary here at St. Ann’s from 1975 to 2000, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in her home. Her funeral will be held here on Saturday, May 7 at 11:30am. Click to read her obituary.

In light of the great humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and the surrounding countries, we appeal for help with a special second emergency collection on Ash Wednesday: Aid to the Church in Central and Eastern Europe, which will allow the Faithful to provide assistance to the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Catholics should not lightly excuse themselves from these prescribed minimal penitential practices.
