Members of the Ministry see Christ in those who live with a mental illness and seek to make the parish a place where individuals living with mental health challenges feel safe, supported and have a sense of belonging. This ministry will provide spiritual accompaniment and support for people with cancer, cancer survivors, as well as those who care for them. The objective of this ministry will be to accompany people with this disease by listening compassionately to their stories and sharing our own. The topics we will cover will include stigma, treatment, recovery, companionship, self-care, and coping. All this is a reminder that you are not alone and that you have a parish community that will accompany you and pray with and for you.
